Work across all three of our properties, and be part of a growing hospitality business! 

Wedding venue and event venue and lodging business seeks ambitious and flexible Assistant Manager. This role is Sunday - Thursday and 30-40 hours per week. Fridays and Saturdays off. 

Responsibilities include:

 

  • Managing part-time cleaning staff

  • Customer service

  • Reporting to Accommodations Manager

 

Traits we are looking for:

​

  • Enjoy speaking with guests - on the phone or in person

  • Write a solid email that represents our company well

  • Be tech savvy - we do a lot of texting and messaging. We use software to manage staff. 

  • Be willing to jump in and help with any task - cleaning, setting up, event attendance, bartending, etc. 

We are open to a lot of experiences and backgrounds - most important is attitude! We love to hire people who are resourceful, proactive, thoughtful, and a self-starter. We are a small business so "that's not my job" is not something we like to hear around here!

Marketing Intern

Seeking paid marketing intern - located in ithaca

 

Wedding venue and event venue and lodging business seeks ambitious and flexible marketing intern for the summer. Responsibilities include:

 

  • Google ads - search and display

  • SEO

  • Poster design

  • Poster distribution

  • Website design / updates

  • Social media

​

You don’t need to have experience in all of these but you must be willing to learn all of these. You can learn from me but you’ll also have to watch some YouTube.

 

Ability to work with little direction. Resourceful - does not ask questions where the answer is on our website or social media. Proactive - doesn’t wait for elaborate instructions to get started, instead gets started and asks questions along the way. Self starter - kicks into gear when something needs to be done.

 

This role is paid, $18/hour

New Park Event Venue & Suites - 1500 Taughannock Blvd Ithaca

Mill Creek Cabins - 2382 Parmenter Rd. Lodi

Cedarwood Event Venue - 9632 State Route 96 Trumansburg

Most of our cleaning shifts are 11am to 3pm, though we have some longer / different shifts around events. 

​

We can be flexible on hours, as long as you are able to work at least one weekend day. 

​

We are looking for someone handy to support our existing maintenance staff. We are looking for someone who may not know all the answers, but is willing to find out! We specifically need someone who is interested in working weekends, as we have events where emergencies tend to come up.
